On March 5, 2026 at 9:30 am, Alden Wilder, 29, of Silver Creek NY, was taken into custody at the Cattaraugus County Building on a warrant out of Cattaraugus County Family Court. Wilder was arraigned in Cattaraugus County Family Court and sentenced to a term of 6 months incarceration in the Cattaraugus County Jail. On March 5, 2026 at 2:15 pm, Thomas A. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit is currently running a clothing fundraiser.
K9 Fundraiser The K9 program currently runs off donations and fundraisers. The Sheriff’s Office has four dual purpose K9’s (patrol and narcotics), one single purpose (explosive detection) and one wellness/critical incident. The fundraising allows us to purchase equipment and attend trainings. Please see the link below for the clothing store. We would like to thank everyone who has donated to this program already.
