Cattaraugus County, NY Sheriff's Arrest Report

  • On April 14, 2026 8:24 pm James R. Frazier, 63, of Franklinville, NY, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child and menacing in the second degree. James Frazier allegedly threatened a 16 year old with a crow bar. James was arrested and arraigned in Franklinville Town Court where he was released on his own recognizance. James is due back in Franklinville Town Court at a later date.

  • On April 15, 2026 12:00 pm Steven P. Howe, 51 of Machias, NY, was arrested following a domestic incident that took place a day prior, April 14th 2026, on Route 16 in the Town of Yorkshire. Mr. Howe was taken into custody at his residence in Machias, and transported to the CCSO SubStation in Delevan for arrest processing. He was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st, Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, Criminal Mischief 4th, Assault 3rd, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd, and Resisting Arrest. Patrol then took Mr. Howe for arraignment at Yorkshire Town Court, where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail and will be held pending further court proceedings.
