Celebrating Stephanie N Scrivo's Impactful Journey at McKean County DES As She Prepares To Move On In Her Career

Today, we recognize and thank Stephanie N. Scrivo as she begins her transition from McKean County DES, with her official last day being May 1st.

Stephanie’s journey with our 911 Center spans nearly a decade—starting as a part-time Telecommunicator, advancing to full-time, serving as a Certified Training Officer, then rising to QA/Training Coordinator, and ultimately to 911 Coordinator. Her progression reflects not only her dedication, but her deep commitment to public safety and excellence.

In her role as 911 Coordinator, Stephanie played a critical part in strengthening relationships with our public safety partners and bringing 911 public education and outreach to the forefront of our mission. She worked side-by-side with agencies across the county, building trust and improving coordination.

One of her most impactful contributions came during the deployment of our new radio system. Stephanie dedicated countless hours training responders—often returning multiple times to agencies—to ensure confidence, competency, and success in the field. Her hands-on approach made a lasting difference across our system.

In late 2025, Stephanie further demonstrated her commitment by earning her Professional Level Emergency Management Certification—an achievement that speaks to her drive to continually grow and lead.

Stephanie’s impact on our center, our partners, and our community will not be forgotten. While we are sad to see her go, we are grateful for everything she has done and proud of the legacy she leaves behind.

We wish Stephanie the very best in her next chapter and look forward to finding ways to keep her involved with McKean County DES in the future.
