On April 14th, 2026, at approximately 1:08AM, Cuba Police arrested Jason J. Foster (43) of Bolivar, NY. Foster was arrested on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Violation) and suspended registration (Unclassified Misdemeanor). Foster was issued citations and released. Foster is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On April 18th, 2026 at approximately 7:02PM, following a complaint of a male stating he was going to harm himself, Cuba Police took an individual into custody under the mental hygiene law. On April 18th, 2026, at approximately 1:14PM, Cuba Police arrested Bruce A. Button (54) of Scio, NY. Button was arrested on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Violation), suspended registration (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd (Unclassified Misdemeanor). Button was issued citations and released. Button is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On April 17th, 2026, at approximately 8:38PM, Cuba Police arrested Martin D. Chaffee (70) of Hinsdale, NY. Chaffee was arrested on charges of passing a red light (Violation), drinking alcohol while operating a motor vehicle (Violation), driving while intoxicated (Misdemeanor), operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08% (Misdemeanor). Chaffee was processed, issued citations and released. Chaffee is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
