Dead Woman Found Floating in Pond

A woman's body was found half-nude in a Danville pond, the Montour County Coroner's Office announced early this morning. 


Yesterday just after 10 a.m., the coroner's office and state police out of Milton were notified of a body in a pond on Roberts Lane in Valley Township, Montour County.


The body was discovered by a person arriving to fish in the pond, according to the coroner. 


First responders say a partially-clothed female's body was found floating in the pond. The body was recovered with the assistance of Valley Township Fire Department.
