Retired London actress Judith Bliss (Terri Meacham) has made her private life as dramatic as those of the characters she once portrayed. Four guests are invited to her country home, and are bewildered by her odd behavior, as she keeps slipping in phrases and scenes from past productions. It doesn’t help matters that her son Simon (Alex Appleby) plays along, or that her daughter Sorel (Breanna Hurban) has nothing but romance on her mind. Together, the Bliss family give their houseguests a confusing weekend they will not soon forget!

Join the Potter-McKean Players for their spring production of Hay Fever, opening at Coudersport High School Friday, April 17th at 7pm, or Saturday, April 18th at 2pm. The following weekend, performances will be at Port Allegany High School on Friday, April 24th at 7pm and Saturday, April 25th at 2pm.

General Admission is $15, with discounts for students, seniors, and groups of 4 or more.

Inspired by his legacy, I created J² PRESS as a continuation of that mission—providing a space where important voices are heard and stories that matter are told. My work focuses on building connections, encouraging thoughtful conversation, and supporting the communities I serve.

Through J² PRESS, I remain committed to preserving a tradition of honest journalism while creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
