Toncha Barber was welcomed as Port Allegany High School's principal on Friday, May 1. Mrs. Barber has been the elementary STEM Lab teacher for the past several years. She has championed instructional practices rooted in computational thinking, collaboration, and complex problem-solving, working to prepare our students for an ever-changing landscape. She also arrives with a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, a small but mighty school district like Port Allegany.
She is pictured with acting principal Tracy Kio and former principal, now school district superintendent Marc Budd. All three graduated from Port Allegany High School.
