Leon G. ANDREWS, 86, of St. Marys, PA, formerly of Harrison Valley, PA

Leon G. ANDREWS, 86, of St. Marys, PA, formerly of Harrison Valley, PA, died Friday, July 10, 2026 in Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys.  Born April 25, 1940, in Harrison Valley, he was the son of Lyle G. and Pearl E. Tanner Andrews.  Leon worked on the family farm for many years.  After the death of his parents, he resided with his brother and wife, Duane and Pat Andrews, for five years, before transitioning to Oak Manor in St. Marys.  

While living at the group home in St. Marys, he was employed by Sylvania Light Company, where his strong work ethic was noted.  After moving to St. Marys, he spent many weekends visiting family.  Leon’s life was rich and full.  He was loved and cared for and he returned that love.  He enjoyed conversation and made people smile.  The family is appreciative to the staff of Oak Manor and Elk Haven for their love and care for Leon.  

Leon is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Beverly Tomb and Betty Crans; and two brothers, Gene L. Andrews and Duane L. Andrews.  

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2026 in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook, PA.  Rev. Kevin Cornish will officiate.
