Lights, Camera, ACTION & Lots of Laughs in Port Allegany Based Comedic Short-Film
From friendship to film, two best friends come together to create a comedic short- film comedy that is inspired by Camp Comedy. This style of comedy is exaggerated and over-the-top filled with absurd illogical situations for the characters to face.
Kathryn Sanchez, 36, Elizabeth Valentine, 46, and Mae Switzer, 9, star as the ghosts that have befriended each other spanning decades haunting the living. This whimsical, laugh-out-loud story, is filled with hilariously absurd rides through the unexpected. This little film is being shot in Port Allegany, including local businesses, and many townspeople as characters and extras.
"We know this is not a Hollywood production, we are doing our best to make the film as professional as possible, but still have fun and laugh while doing it. My hope is to enter it into Wellsboro Film Festival next February and to showcase it at the Coudersport Movie Theater this Fall. I want to push myself outside my comfort zone to create something meaningful to me and share it with my community." Elizabeth Valentine stated.
Filming is expected to start in June, but pre-productions has been in the works since last Fall.
