Northern Potter Varsity Panthers Fall After Strong Showing By Bolivar-Richburg

Northern Potter Varsity Panthers couldn't keep up with Bolivar-Richburg and fell 14-2 on Monday.
Bolivar-Richburg got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after B Clark scored after tagging up, and R Iantorno grounded out, each scoring one run.
Bolivar-Richburg scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. C Margeson doubled, scoring one run, H Schappacher was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, M Baldwin grounded out, scoring one run, and Iantorno doubled, scoring two runs.
Bolivar-Richburg scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. L Haskins drew a walk, scoring one run, C Haas tripled, scoring one run, Margeson doubled, scoring one run, and K Loucks singled, scoring two runs.
Henry Nicholas stepped on the bump first for Northern Potter Varsity Panthers. The starter gave up 11 hits and 14 runs (10 earned) over four innings, striking out three and walking one. J Day led things off on the bump for Bolivar-Richburg. The starter surrendered one hit and two runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking three.
Rees Elmadollar led Northern Potter Varsity Panthers with one hit in three at bats.
Bolivar-Richburg piled up 11 hits in the game. Haas and Margeson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Bolivar-Richburg. Iantorno provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bolivar-Richburg with three runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Schappacher stole two bases. Bolivar-Richburg stole four bases in the game.
Northern Potter Varsity Panthers will travel to Otto-Eldred for their next game on Tuesday.
