Port Allegany Heart & Soul Honored by the PA Route 6 Alliance and Recognized by Senator Cris Dush

The Senate of Pennsylvania recognized  Port Allegany Heart and Soul  for being honored by the PA Route 6 Alliance upon successfully completing its initiative.  Joyce Stehle, of the Heart and Soul committee, shared the citation with the Port Allegany Women's Club at their re-organizational meeting held at the Senior Center. 

PAWC applied for membership to the Community Heart and Soul initiative to restore pride to the community, spark positive changes and make Port Allegany a more desirable place to live. 

In November 2023, Port Allegany Heart and Soul was established after the town was accepted into the program.
