Welcome, and thank you for being here.

My name is Jessica Jones, and I’m honored to introduce J²PRESS, a new news and community website to you. This space was created with a simple but powerful purpose: to keep our local communities informed, connected, and heard.

This project is also deeply personal to me. I am the daughter of the late James Jones, editor and publisher of Solomon's Words for the Wise. My father believed strongly in the value of local news—news that matters to everyday people, that tells the truth plainly, and that strengthens the bonds between neighbors. He dedicated his life to making sure information was accessible, timely, and rooted in the community it served.

In his honor, I am continuing that mission.

This website is a place for live, up-to-date local news, community announcements, events, and stories that might otherwise go untold. It’s for the victories worth celebrating, the challenges that need attention, and the voices that deserve to be heard. Most of all, it’s for you—the people who make up this community.

I believe that strong communities start with informed communities. My hope is that this site becomes a trusted source you can rely on, contribute to, and feel proud of. Your support, engagement, and shared stories will help this platform grow and succeed.
