Seneca Highlands CTC's "Student of the Week"
Tristen Kiser is a third-year Heavy Equipment Maintenance student. Tristen has excelled this year, holding a 94 or better the first two marking periods and a 100 for this marking period. Tristen has been a positive example within the shop and classroom. Tristen has gone above and beyond in helping his peers to understand shop assignments.

RWE donation of $40,000 funds SHCTC EMT program

RWE, developer of the Stargazer Solar Project, has announced a $40,000 donation to the Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center to fund the creation of a new EMT training certification program. We are pleased to announce that the Seneca Highlands CTC Engineering student of the week is Simon Slade. Simon is a junior at Smethport Area High School, where he participates in marching band and is a member of their trap team. He has also been active in the Boy Scouts of America organization for the past eight years. At the CTC he is an active member of our Safety Committee.
