The City of Bradford Police Department, in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police, Bradford City Fire Department, local EMS providers, and the Bradford Area School District, will be participating in a Mock Crash Scenario at Bradford Area High School on Tuesday, April 28th at 8:30 AM.

This event is designed to give students a realistic look at the devastating consequences of impaired and distracted driving. The demonstration will include a simulated crash scene, emergency response, medical treatment, and legal consequences following a DUI-related incident.

Students will witness firsthand the coordinated efforts of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and the county coroner, along with a live 911 dispatch and on-scene narration to help them fully understand the seriousness of these situations.

Important Note for the Public:

Residents in the area of Bradford Area High School may notice a large emergency response presence that morning, including police, fire, EMS, and a potential helicopter flyover. This is only a training and educational exercise—there is no real emergency.

This program is an important part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our community safe by educating young drivers on the life-altering consequences of poor decisions behind the wheel.

We appreciate the cooperation of the community and the continued partnership between all agencies involved to make this impactful event possible.
