Cameron County Prom Royalty: Emmylina Mae Smith and Sheamus Callahan

Emmylina Mae Smith is the daughter of Emily and James Smith. She has Participated in Track and Field for 4 years, Indoor track for 3 years, Cross County for 2 years, and Cheerleading for 4 years, where she served as captain for the last 2 years. She has been a member of Student Council for 1 year. Emmylina has volunteered ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dogs, hanging out with friends, and going shopping with her mom.

Emmylina plans to attend a 4-year university majoring in Elementary Education.

Escorting Emmylina is Sheamus Callahan

Sheamus Callahan is the son of Alex and Chandra Reed. Sheamus has spent 7 years as a member of the band and currently serves as drum major. His musical accomplishments also include membership of the Tri-music Honor Society, selection for PMEA District Band for 3 years and PMEA Regional Band for 2 years. Beyond band, Sheamus has been a committed athlete, running cross country for 4 years, spring track for 5 years, and winter track for 1 year. He has also been involved in Envirothon and student council, and has spent the past 3 years as a SPCA volunteer. In his free time Sheamus enjoys baking, running, playing cards, gaming, and spending time with friends and family.

Following graduation, Sheamus plans to continue his education pursuing food science or culinary arts.
