Cattaraugus County, NY Sheriff's Arrest Report

6/8/2026 DWI Arrest

  • On June 9, 2026 at 6:46 pm, Richard W. Case, 55, of Little Valley, was taken into custody by deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory. Case was subject to a traffic stop on Hardscrabble Road in the Town of Coldspring due to a vehicle and traffic law infraction. Following an investigation, Case was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. Case was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing and a chemical test. Case was processed and released on an appearance ticket and multiple uniform traffic tickets. Case is due in the Town of Coldspring Court at a later date for further proceedings.

6/4/2026

  • On June 4, 2026 at 7:18 pm, Shane Kranock, 32, of Franklinville was arrested on a Felony Bench Warrant with the assistance of Franklinville Police Department and K9 Echo. Kranock was taken into custody without incident after patrol made contact with Kranock.  He was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail awaiting further court proceedings.


  • On June 4, 2026 at 11:00 pm, Michael Ficek, 51, of Virginia, was arrested for Aggravated DWI, DWI Intox along with other V&T violations.  He was processed and released on appearance tickets.

6/6/2026

  • On June 6, 2026 at 10:00 am, William Rogers, 55, unknown address, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of the Town of Allegany.  Rogers was arraigned, processed and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date.

6/8/2026

  • On June 8, 2026 at 2:04 am, Kyle Bemowski, 35, of Olean, was arrested on a Felony Bench Warrant out of the Cattaraugus County Court along with an extraditable warrant out of McKean County, Pennsylvania. He was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail to be held awaiting further court proceedings.


  • On June 8, 2026 at 10:30 am, Jason Dille, 51, of Salamanca, was arrested on a valid Cattaraugus County Court bench warrant. Jason was arrested and transported to Cattaraugus County Court where he was processed and released on his own recognizance.


  • On June 8, 2026, Blair D. Hill, 35,  was arrested after being apprehended by Cheektowaga PD and turned over to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office for an active arrest warrant out of Cattaraugus County Family Court. Patrol transported Hill to CCSO for processing, then he was taken for arraignment at Cattaraugus County Family Court. Hill was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear back in Family Court for further proceedings at a later date.

6/5/2026 Felony DWI Arrest

  • On June 5, 2026 at 10:15 pm, Josh G. Howard, 53, of Allegany, was taken into custody by deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory. Howard was subject to a traffic stop on I-86 E/B in the Town of Carrollton due to a vehicle and traffic law infraction. Following an investigation Howard was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. Howard was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office for processing and a chemical test, which he refused. Howard was processed and released on an appearance ticket and multiple uniform traffic tickets for the following charges: DWI Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, Operate a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Reg, Operate Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Howard is due in the Town of Carrollton Court at a later date for further proceedings.

6/10/2026 Blotter

  • On June 10, 2026 at 6:45 pm, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested Taytem L. Heitzinger (23) of Allegany on a bench warrant out of Cattaraugus County Court for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of treatment court. Heitzinger was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail to await further court proceedings.  The Southern tier regional drug task force was assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Olean City Police Department. 

6/10 and 6/11/2026 Arrests Tasheen Robinson

  • On June 10, 2026 at 3:52 pm, Tasheen J. Robinson, 48, of Hinsdale, NY was taken into custody after being located on Reed St. in the City of Olean. Robinson was charged with Strangulation in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, Assault in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation stemming from an incident that occurred on June 7th 2026 in the Village of Little Valley. Robinson was processed and transported to Little Valley Town Court for arraignment, where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail. Robinson will appear in Cattaraugus County Court at a later date.


  • On June 11, 2026 at 12:00 pm, while incarcerated in the Cattaraugus County Jail, Robinson was arrested for 1 count of Failure to register within 10 days/address, after an investigation performed by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau. Robinson, a level 3 sex offender, was found to be living at 28 Rochambeau Ave. in the Town of Andover and not his registered address of 3363 Rt 16 in the Town of Hinsdale.  He was arraigned at the Town of Little Valley Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.  He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Little Valley Court at a later date and time.

6/9/2026 Blotter

  • On June 9, 2026 at 3:09 pm, Samantha R. Reed, 35, of Olean, NY, was taken into custody after she was located walking on W State St. in the City of Olean. Reed had an active bench warrant out of Olean City Court and New York State Police Olean. Reed was transported to the Olean Police Department for arraignment, where she was released under supervision. Reed is due back at Olean City Court at a later date.

6/9/2026 Search Warrant Arrest

  • On June 09, 2026 at approximately 10:40pm the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Salamanca City Police Department, Olean City Police Department Street Crimes Unit and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant on Cobb Avenue in the Village of Delevan NY. After executing a search warrant of the premises investigators found 1 ounce of Fentanyl, 2 ounces of Methamphetamine, scales, packaging and U.S. currency from illegal drug sales.  Investigators also found a loaded 380 pistol in the residence.  Investigators arrested Thomas M. Albert (41) of Delevan for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree a class B Felony, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a class A Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of a Fire Arm in the third degree a Class D Felony and Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the second degree a class A-2 Felony, Danielle L. Moss (31) of Delevan she was charged with Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree a class B Felony, Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia a class A Misdemeanor and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree a class A-2 Felony and Justin Kulczycki (27) of Machias NY was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree a class A-2 Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree a class C Felony.  All three defendants were transported to the Town of Freedom Court for an arraignment and will appear back in court at a later date for further court proceedings.

6/12/2026 Traffic Stop/Drug Arrest

  • On June 12, 2026 at 2:47 am, Frank J. Felt, 53, of Allegany NY was taken into custody by deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory. Felt was subject to a traffic stop on Route 417 in the Town of Great Valley due to a vehicle and traffic law infraction. Following an investigation K9 Cash was deployed for a vehicle sniff. K9 Cash positively indicated on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Following a search of the vehicle deputies located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and a pipe with residue. While Felt was in custody and being transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriffs Office he made multiple threats to kill law enforcement. Felt was released on an appearance ticket and a uniform traffic ticket for the following charges: Making a Terroristic Threat, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Resisting Arrest, and No/Inadequate Headlight. Felt is due in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date for further proceedings.
