4/26/2026 Blotter
On April 26, 2026 at 4:19 am, Aaron J. Leo (32) of West Seneca, NY was arrested on an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Olean Court The warrant stemmed from an incident which occurred on 04/01/2026 where Leo is alleged to have broken into the Cattaraugus County building at 1 Leo Moss Dr. Leo was processed and released with an appearance ticket to return to the Olean City Court at a later date to answer the charges.
On April 26, 2026 at 2:22 pm, Curtis J. Proctor, 50, and Kasandra M. Proctor, 43, both of Port Allegany, PA were arrested following a complaint at Walmart. It was found that both individuals attempted to leave the store without paying for all their merchandise. They were both charged with one count of Petit Larceny and were released on appearance tickets. They are scheduled to be arraigned in court at a later date.
4/25/2026 Criminal Contempt Arrest
On April 25, 2026, at 7:41 pm, Kevin M. Stafford Jr, 34, of Coldspring, was taken into custody by deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory. Stafford Jr. was the subject of a domestic incident that occurred on April 14th, 2026, in the Town of Coldspring that was reported on April 24th, 2026. Stafford Jr. is alleged to have caused physical injury to a person who is a protected party on an order of protection with Stafford Jr. Stafford Jr. was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office for processing and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st Degree, Aggravated Family Offense, and Assault 3rd Degree. Stafford was processed, arraigned in the Town of Conewango Court and released under supervision. Stafford is due in the Town of Coldspring Court at a later date for further proceedings.
4/21/2026 Burglary/Petit Larceny Arrests
On April 21, 2026 at 6:02 pm, Andrew F Crooks, 43, of Machias, NY was arrested for burglary in the third degree and petit larceny stemming from a larceny complaint deputies responded to at 7-Eleven in the Town of Yorkshire on 4/17/2026. Investigation revealed that Crooks had entered the store after being trespassed by the owner. Allegedly Crooks assisted Serena Alls, 27, of Machias to steal Pokemon cards. He is charged with burglary in the third degree and petit larceny. Crooks was taken to the Town of Freedom Court for arraignment where he was released under supervision. Alls was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Yorkshire Court.
4/26/2026 Menacing Arrest
On April 26, 2026 at 8:08 pm, Shaun M Baker, 46, of Portville was arrested after an investigation of a larceny and menacing. Baker was given appearance tickets for Menacing in The Third Degree, Petit Larceny, Criminal Mischief in The Fourth Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Baker was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Portville Court at a later date.
4/26/2026 DWI Arrest
On April 26, 2026 at 3:25 am, Ethan D. Miller, 19, of Hinsdale, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the Town of Hinsdale. Patrol responded to the area of Gile Hollow for reports of a suspicious vehicle. When the vehicle was located a traffic stop was initiated. During the traffic stop the operator showed signs of intoxication. The subsequent roadside investigation led to Miller being taken into custody without issue. He is charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Leandra's Law, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Hinsdale Court at later court date.
