Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office Arrest Reports

  • On March 16 2026 at 12:41 pm,  Michael Burdic was arrested in the Town of Machias on three separate direct deposit bench warrants out of Cattaraugus County Court. Mr. Burdic was processed and transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he will be held until further court proceedings in County Court.


  • On March 17, 2026 at 2:53 pm, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Shawn A. Austin, 37, of Portville, NY. Austin was arrested at his residence on an active Bench Warrant issued out of the Olean Police Department. Austin was transported to OPD and was turned over to a patrolman.


  • On March 17, 2026, Karl A. Rosenow, 50, of Ischua, NY, was taken into custody stemming from a domestic incident that occurred earlier in the month of March. Rosenow was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree. Rosenow was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear at Ischua Town Court at a later date.


Harassment of an Employee by Incarcerated Individual

  • On March 17, 2026 at 1:30 pm, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Kelly J. Davin-Robar, age 64 for the charge of harassment of an employee by an incarcerated individual. The charge stems from an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Bureau that took place in the Cattaraugus County Jail on March 4, 2026. Kelly Davin-Robar was processed and released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Little Valley Court.


DWI Arrest

  • On March 17, 2026 at 3:38 pm, Allen Burch, 75, of Kennedy NY was arrested for driving while intoxicated after an investigation into an accident on RT 394 in the Town of Coldspring. Deputies responded to a call of a car into a house with down power lines. Further investigation revealed signs of intoxication. Burch is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, Driving While Intoxicated, Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent and, Failed to Use Designated Lane. Burch is due back in the Town of Coldspring Court.


DWI Arrest

  • On March 18, 2026 at 6:19 am, Kelvin George, 21, of Coldspring was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense, Driving While Intoxicated with BAC greater than .08%, Driving on the Shoulder of the Roadway, Failure to Give Half the Roadway following an investigation into a one car MVA in the Town of Salamanca. George was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.

  • In addition during the DWI investigation, the passenger was taken into custody for Obstruction of Governmental Administration. Moagi Buffalo, 18, was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.


Sex Offender Failure to Mail Annual Verification

  • On March 17, 2026 at 1:30 pm, after an investigation performed by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau, an arrest has been made for 1 count of Failure to Mail in Annual Verification (sex offender violation).  Lionel R. Luper Sr. was mailed his annual verification to his registered address of 9 Borden St. in the Town of Randolph and failed to fill it out and mail it back.  He was arraigned at Cattaraugus County Court and sent to jail in lieu of $1 bail.  He is scheduled back in County Court at a later date and time.


Sex Offender Failure to Register Internet-Email Accounts

  • On March 17, 2026 at 2:30 pm, after an investigation performed by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau, an arrest has been made for 2 counts of Failure to Register Internet Accounts/E-Mail Address (sex offender violation).  Tina L. Wagner was arrested for having two unregistered e-mail addresses.  She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Little Valley Town Court at a later date and time.
