City of Bradford Fire Department Launching Voluntary Community Connect Program

The City of Bradford Fire Department is getting safer and more connected. This is for all residents that we serve within the City of Bradford and our surrounding communities we provide ambulance services to.

We are excited to announce that we are implementing Community Connect through First Due reporting software for all Bradford area residents. This program allows residents and businesses to securely share important information directly with Fire and EMS responders before an emergency happens.

Community Connect gives you the opportunity to provide details such as:

 Emergency contact information

Household members with special needs or mobility concerns

 Pets in the home

 Access information for your property

Medical information you want responders to know

Business and building information for commercial properties

This information is voluntary, secure, and only accessible to emergency responders when needed — helping us respond faster, smarter, and safer during emergencies.

By working together, we can improve emergency response and better protect our community.

I am the founder of J² PRESS, a community-centered news platform dedicated to sharing meaningful stories and fostering local engagement. I launched J² PRESS in honor of my father, James Jones, whose work with Solomon's Words for the Wise reflected a deep commitment to truth, integrity, and community dialogue.

Inspired by his legacy, I created J² PRESS as a continuation of that mission—providing a space where important voices are heard and stories that matter are told. My work focuses on building connections, encouraging thoughtful conversation, and supporting the communities I serve.

Through J² PRESS, I remain committed to preserving a tradition of honest journalism while creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
