May 13th, 2026

  • Patrick Deeghan, 74, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint in the City. Deeghan was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd degree. Deeghan was processed and held pending arraignment.


  • Rose Bickford, 44, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint of . Bickford was charged with Assault in the 3rd degree. Bickford was processed and held for arraignment as well as an order of protection.

May 15th, 2026

  • Marvin Shantler, 30, of Olean, was taken into custody on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court, Shantler was processed, arraigned, and turned back over to the Custody of the Cattaraugus County Jail.


  • Andrew Button, 35, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court. Button was processed and held for arraignment.


  • Levi Brown, 49, of Little Valley, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the City. Brown was charged with Failure to Signal, Consuming Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Refusal to take a Breath Test, Driving White Intoxicated Previous Conviction in 10 years, as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree. Brown was Processed and held for arraignment.


  • James Hudson, 49, of Salamanca, was issued an appearance ticket for Open Burn. Hudson is due back in court at a later date.

May 16th, 2026

  • Alanis Jones, 21, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court. Jones was processed and held for arraignment.


  • Rae George, 48, of Salamanca, was issued UTT's following a traffic stop in the City. George was charged with Speed in Zone as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. George was released with a later court date.


  • Jimmie Thompson, 38, of Niagara Falls, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the City of Salamanca. Thompson was charged with Speed in Zone and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd degree. Thompson had an active warrant out of Cheektowaga Police, he was subsequently turned over to their custody.


  • Michael Hale, 46, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued out of the City of Salamanca Court. Hale was charged with Criminal Mischief 4th as well as Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree. Hale was processed and released with a later court date.


  • Melvin Smith, 37, of Salamanca, was issued UTT's following a traffic stop in the City. Smith was charged with Unsafe turn as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. Smith was released roadside with a later court date.

May 17th, 2026

  • Matthew Lingenfelter, 39, of Salamanca was issued UTT's following a traffic stop in the City. Lingenfelter was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree as well as No License Plate. Lingenfelter was released roadside with a later court date.


  • Khristerpher Ellis, 36, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a roadside investigation. Ellis was charged with Fail to use Bike Lane as well as Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd as well as Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. Ellis was processed and held for arraignment.

May 18th, 2026

  • Brittany Pannell, 39, of Salamanca, was issued UTT's following a traffic stop in the City. Pannell charged with Obstructed plate as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. Pannell was released with a later court date.


  • Steven Derk, 32, of Salamanca, was issued UTT's following a traffic stop in the City. Derk was charged with Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle on the roadway as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. Derk was released with a later court date.


  • Ty Ellis, 55, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a roadside investigation in the City. Ellis was charged with Speed in Zone, inadequate lights, Consuming Alcohol on a Highway, as well as Driving While Intoxicated 1st offense. Ellis was processed and released with a later court date.
