Coudersport’s Lawson Wetzel recorded his 100th career strikeout in just his sophomore season, as he fanned 13 Johnsonburg batters while also hitting a grand slam, one of two grannys for the Falcons, in a 15-1 win at Johnsonburg.


Wetzel came into the game needing six strikeouts to hit 100, and he accomplished the feat by striking out the side in both the first and second innings, with his punch out of Walker Miller swinging to end the second being the milestone K.
