Cuba, NY Police Dept. Arrest Reports

  • On June 21st, 2026, at approximately 4:14PM, Cuba Police arrested Zachary W. Knapp (33) of Homeless. Knapp was arrested on charges of false personation (Misdemeanor) and obstruction of governmental administration (Misdemeanor). Knapp was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail to await arraignment. Knapp is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On June 22nd, 2026, at approximately 1:28AM, Cuba Police arrested John H. Finch JR. (35) of Friendship, NY. Finch JR. was arrested on charges of obstructed/no license plate (Violation) operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Violation), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and operating a motor vehicle without a drivers license (Violation). Finch JR. was issued citations and released. Finch JR. is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On June 22nd, 2026, at approximately 8:45 PM, Cuba Police arrested Frank P. Kelley (61) of Friendship, NY. Kelley was arrested on charges of obstructed/no license plate (Violation) operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Violation), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and operating a motor vehicle without a drivers license (Violation). Kelley was issued citations and released. Kelley is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On June 23rd, 2026, at approximately 11:35 PM, Cuba Police arrested Michael J. Crowley (42) of Scio, NY. Crowley was arrested on charges of faulty/no turning signal (Violation), obstructed/no license plate (Violation), failure to notify DMV of an address change (Violation), aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and operating a motor vehicle without a drivers license (Violation). Crowley was issued citations and released. Crowley is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On June 29th, 2026, at approximately 2:34PM, Cuba Police arrested Robert P. Cassidy (58) of Cuba, NY. Cassidy was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (Misdemeanor) and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content greater than .08% (Misdemeanor). Cassidy was issued citations and released. Cassidy is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On June 29th, 2026, at approximately 9:06PM, Cuba Police arrested Jon R. Faber (40) of Alma, NY. Faber was

    arrested on charges of no/inadequate lights (Violation), no/inadequate license plate (Violation), operating a motor vehicle without insurance (Violation), unregistered motor vehicle (Violation), aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor), criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd (Misdemeanor) and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th (Misdemeanor). These charges stem from a traffic stop in which Faber allegedly was in possession of methamphetamine. Faber was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail. Faber is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.


  • On June 30th, 2026, at approximately 1:06AM, following a complaint, Cuba Police arrested Joel D. Battistoni

    (46) of Cuba, NY. Battistoni was arrested on charges of harassment 2nd (Violation), illegal signal (Violation), no/inadequate lights (Violation), moved from lane unsafely (Violation), unsafe backing (Violation), unsafe movement of a motor vehicle (Violation), reckless driving (Unclassified Misdemeanor), failure to obey a police officer (Violation), criminal mischief 3rd (Felony), reckless endangerment 1st (Felony), reckless driving (Unclassified Misdemeanor), obstruction of governmental administration (Misdemeanor), attempted aggravated assault on a police officer (Felony), attempted vehicular assault first (Felony) resisting arrest (Misdemeanor). These charges stem from a traffic stop in which Battistoni allegedly attempted to strike two police officers and allegedly used a motor vehicle to strike a police vehicle. Battistoni was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail on no bail. Battistoni is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • On July 1st, 2026, at approximately 7:13AM, Cuba Police arrested Brian P. Kilpatrick (38) of Rushford, NY.

    Kilpatrick was arrested on charges of petit larceny (Misdemeanor). Kilpatrick was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail. These charges stem from Kilpatrick allegedly stealing items from a local business. Kilpatrick is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
