Elk County Commissioners Seek Public Assistance Following Vandalism of Arroyo Bridge

  • 1 min read

The Elk County Commissioners are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for vandalizing the historic Arroyo Bridge. The damage is believed to have occurred sometime within the past week.

Vandalism of public property is not only costly to taxpayers, but also shows a blatant disregard for a valued community landmark. The Commissioners are committed to holding those responsible accountable and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A $50 reward is being offered for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and prosecution of the person or persons responsible.

All information received will be kept strictly confidential.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Elk County Commissioners' Office at:

 814-776-1161

The Elk County Commissioners appreciate the community’s assistance in protecting and preserving our public resources and historic sites.
