Jaylyn Williammee Leads Northern Potter Varsity Panthers Past Fires

Jaylyn Williammee was dominant in the circle, as the hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in Northern Potter Varsity Panthers's 10-0 victory over Fires on Saturday. Williammee gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings while walking none.


Northern Potter Varsity Panthers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after a steal of home scored one run, Serenity Risser singled, scoring one run, and Izzy Prince singled, scoring two runs.

Northern Potter Varsity Panthers added one run in the second after Taylor Knowles doubled down the left field line.


Northern Potter Varsity Panthers scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Myah Kibbe singled, scoring one run, Grace Potts induced Emma Haynes to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Knowles singled, scoring one run, Williammee scored after tagging up, and Maddie Palmatier drew a walk, scoring one run.


Potts stepped in the circle first for Fires. The right-handed pitcher gave up 11 hits and 10 runs (six earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking six.


Northern Potter Varsity Panthers collected 11 hits in the game. Risser, Knowles, Lillian Steele, and Kibbe each collected two hits for Northern Potter Varsity Panthers. Prince and Knowles each drove in two runs for Northern Potter Varsity Panthers. Northern Potter Varsity Panthers had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Williammee and Kayla Hyde led the team with two free passes each.
