Lucille K. CHURCH, 97, of Roulette, PA

Lucille K. CHURCH, 97, of Roulette, PA, died Sunday, June 21, 2026 in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.  Born May 5, 1929, in Clara Township, she was the daughter of Harlen and Ella Palmatier Knowlton. On Jan. 27, 1951, in Sanborn, NY, she married Otis E. Church, who predeceased her on August 5, 2013.  


A 1947 graduate of Roulette High School, she studied at Westbrook Commercial Academy in Olean, NY.  Lucille was employed as treasurer of PC Federal Credit Union in Port Allegany.  She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Roulette, where she served as treasurer, Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, and president of United Methodist Women.  Lucille served on several boards including the Port Allegany School Board, secretary/treasurer of Roulette Township, secretary/treasurer of Lyman Cemetery, treasurer of Port Allegany Red Cross, and treasurer of Port Allegany Community Chest.  She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Eulalia Chapter #148 in Coudersport, where she was past Worthy Matron, Golden Star Member, and held several other offices.  


Surviving are: two daughters, Karen M. (Jeffrey) Masors of Pelham, NH and Marsha C. (Lynn) Walker of Roulette; two granddaughters, McKenzie Walker and Rhue (Ben) Girt; three great-grandchildren, Irulan Walker, Dawson Walker Hetrick, and Adilynn Girt; nieces, including special niece, Kim Whitling; and nephews.  


In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by five brothers, Fred Knowlton, Joseph Knowlton, Robert Brown, Leonard Brown, and Lewis Brown; and two sisters, Nettie Waters and Rose Knowlton Whitling.  


Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Switzer Chapel, 77 Willow Street, Port Allegany, PA on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, with an Eastern Star service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2027 in Riverside United Methodist Church, 30 River Street, Roulette, PA.  Rev. James Cannistraci and Rev. Gregory Rapp will co-officiate.  Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery, Roulette.  


Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church or the Roulette Township Community Center.
