WHAT HAPPENED
Pennsylvania State Police said a 23-year-old woman reported a domestic dispute that occurred Aug. 23 in Forest County. She told police Andrew D'Angelo, 27, of Marienville, struck her, grabbed her by the throat and impeded her ability to breathe. She also reported that he hit her head against a wall while maintaining his hold on her throat.
Charges were filed, and a warrant was issued for D'Angelo. He was arrested Aug. 28 and taken to the Warren County Jail pending further court proceedings.
In a separate Aug. 9 incident on Route 949 in Heath Township, police investigated the dissemination of an intimate image. The release provided no additional details.
On Aug. 29, police conducted a traffic stop on Washington Church Road in Washington Township for a Title 75 violation. The operator, a 31-year-old man from Tionesta, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI.
