George Henry Whaley Jr. threatened to kill a judge and put a multi-trillion dollar lien on Lycoming County.

A man claiming to be a sovereign citizen allegedly threatened to kill a judge he accused of treason.

George Henry Whaley Jr, 68, of Williamsport sent emails addressed to Judge William Carlucci with the words "kill shot" in the subject line, according to an affidavit.

Whaley, who also sent an email to the Clerk of Courts, additionally placed a lien of $8.2 trillion on the judge and county department.

A "kill shot notice" is a pseudo legal term accusing an official of treason against a sovereign citizen, Detective Kenneth Bowers said. Whaley sent the emails on April 10 and requested charges and a bench warrant filed against him be dismissed.
