During today’s state budget hearing with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, I thanked everyone who is involved in the all hands on deck effort to reverse Kaleida Health's unfortunate service reductions, which include shuttering the emergency room, inpatient facilities and The Pavilion senior living facility at Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC).
As previously stated, we as a community need to work together to turn this painful set-back into an opportunity.
We must have the capability locally to provide emergency treatment for our families, friends, and neighbors and to take care of our seniors.
I’m already working with other elected officials and potential medical providers to try and find a solution – a solution that will breathe life and energy back into our essential services!
