A 9-run sixth inning propelled Smethport to a 12-4 interdistrict win over visiting Eisenhower.
Trailing 4-3, the Hubbers struck for five hits and drew five walks to plate the nine runs. Mason Swanson and Zach Hungiville each hit 2-run doubles in the inning.
Eisenhower scored four in the fifth to take the lead. Michael Palmieri’s RBI single resulted in two runs coming across. One out later, Wesley Wilcox lifted a 2-run home run to center to give the Knights the 4-3 advantage.
