Two Found Deceased in Vehicle at UPMC Chautaugua Hospital Parking Lot

On July 22nd, 2026, at about 2:10 PM, officers of the Jamestown Police Department responded to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital for a report of two unresponsive individuals in a vehicle in the parking lot of the emergency department.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the two victims were deceased.
Further investigation had revealed that the cause of death of both victims was the result of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds and there is no criminal investigation in this matter.
There is no threat to the public and the names of the victims will not be released at this time.
