A Warren man, who was recently approved as a long-term substitute teacher, is facing multiple charges after a woman reported an alleged inappropriate relationship when she was 16.
According to online court records, Logan N. Beard, 35, of Warren, was charged with Corruption of Minors (F3), Unlawful Contact with Minor (F3), and Indecent Exposure (M2) on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Beard was released on $25,000 unsecured bail, with pre-trial supervision, following a preliminary arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Raymond Zydonik.
Beard was approved as a long-term substitute science teacher at Beaty-Warren Middle School during the Feb. 9, 2026, school board meeting.
The victim called City of Warren Police to report the incident after she learned that Beard had become a teacher, “and was concerned that this could happen to another person,” according to the criminal complaint.
