Michael Burham Sentenced in Chautauqua County Court

The saga involving Michael Burham, the man who twice led authorities on multi-day manhunts in 2023, came to a close Monday when Burham was sentenced to 25 years to life after pleading guilty to murder. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit is currently running a clothing fundraiser.
K9 Fundraiser The K9 program currently runs off donations and fundraisers. The Sheriff’s Office has four dual purpose K9’s (patrol and narcotics), one single purpose (explosive detection) and one wellness/critical incident. The fundraising allows us to purchase equipment and attend trainings. Please see the link below for the clothing store. We would like to thank everyone who has donated to this program already.
