Michael Burham Sentenced in Chautauqua County Court

The saga involving Michael Burham, the man who twice led authorities on multi-day manhunts in 2023, came to a close Monday when Burham was sentenced to 25 years to life after pleading guilty to murder.


Chautauqua County Court Judge David Foley sentenced Burham to 25 years to life in state prison. In January, Burham pled guilty to murder in the May 11, 2023, shooting death of 34-year-old Kala Hodgkin, of Jamestown, N.Y.
