Cameron County’s Bresslin Named NTL Girls’ MVP; O-E’s Gray Coach of the Year; All-Conference Team Named
Cameron County’s Elsie Bresslin was named the NTL girls’ MVP in voting by the league’s coaches, while Otto-Eldred’s Shawn Gray was chosen as Coach of the Year. The league also named an all-conference team. The Nippers Girls Basketball Team went 3 for 3 in their last tournament of the season today!
These athletes have improved so much from day one! The wrestling school might just be able to play a little basketball as well. Thanks to a 62-51 win over Moniteau in the District 9 Class 2A third-place game at DuBois High School on Friday night, Port Allegany is headed to the PIAA playoffs in hoops for just the fourth time in school history and for the first time in 30 years. A strong start and a strong finish ensured the Gators of their first PIAA playoff berth since qualifying in Class 1A in 1996, when they were the D9 run
