SMETHPORT 23, GALETON 15, 5 INNINGS In a wild affair called after five innings, Smethport beat visiting Galeton, 23-15. The Lady Hubbers had three five-run innings – the first, second, and fourth – and a seven-run frame – the fifth. Galeton had a four-run first, a three-run third, and an 8-run fifth. The Galeton Area School District proudly held its National Honor Society induction ceremony on March 23, recognizing three outstanding students for their academic achievement, leadership, service, and character. This year’s inductees—Aericah Brown, Treyton Sykora, and Ethan Whittekind—were honored in a ceremony attended by family members, faculty, and community supporters.
