Francis Homers/O-E Comes From Behind
The Otto-Eldred softball team was sitting pretty going into the 4th inning 5-1, however the Kane wolves crossed the plate 6 times on 5 hits for the go ahead bottom of the 4th. Lady Terrors took the lead 8-7 after a solo HR by Baylee Francis top of sixth however short lived after the wolves plated 3 more scores bottom of the 6th.
Top of seventh the lady Terrors stormed back behind a2 RBI double by Grace Rositzke and an RBI single by Peyton Kaziska to take the lead 11-10 and Francis did the rest of the work striking out 3 of the last four batters for the win. Baylee Francis was the winning hurler earning a complete game striking out 11 while walking just 2.
Francis also helped offensively at the plate with a sole HR while walking 3 times and crossing 3 times. H. Unverdorben led the Terrors at the plate going 4-5(triple) 2 RBIs while Jahden Smith 3-5(triple that tied game in the 5th) Emily Rounsville 2-3(double) 2 scores , Rosiski (double) 1-4 3RBIs and Kasiska was2-5 pushing 3 across.
