Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau Makes Exciting Announcement
Something GIANT is stirring in the woods of McKean County in Northwestern Pennsylvania...
Trail Central is thrilled to announce we are welcoming Trolls in the Forest to McKean County! Coming in September 2027, this world-class public art experience is created by internationally renowned recycle artist Thomas Dambo.
Trolls in the Forest features three massive, hand-built troll sculptures crafted entirely from recycled and reclaimed materials. Standing up to 40 feet tall, these guardians of nature will be Dambo’s first permanent installation in Pennsylvania, officially putting McKean County on the international troll-hunting map!
Even better? They will be built right here with the assistance of our own McKean County residents. (Stay tuned for how YOU can get involved in the build!)
The Trolls in the Forest are more than just an art exhibit; they are going to bring a touch of magic to our community, driving tourism and bringing national attention to our region as we join the global “Dambo Troll phenomenon."
