Port Allegany's Jarrod Funk Commits to Penn State Behrend

Jarrod Fund has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Penn State Behrend in the fall.  He will play basketball and major in Finance.  Funk is the NTL (Northern Tier League) MVP, a 4-year NTL All-Star and a member of the 1,000 point club.  Funk and his team earned the first NTL Championships in 25 years. They also participated in the Gators' first state playoff bid in 30 years, winning their first state playoff game in school history. 


Funk has been playing AAU for the past two years in the PUMA NxtPro Circuit in Erie, and for three years prior with unaffiliated clubs.  Funk is a scholar athlete as a member of the National Honor Society.
