NTL Baseball and Softball All-Stars Announced
The Northern Tier Legaue Baseball All-Stars have been announced as follows: Cayden Trumpie and Boden Pearsall from Cameron County; Mitchell Taylor and Lawson Wetzel from Coudersport; Macaibe Splain from Otto-Eldred; Isaiah Goode and Dawson Welch from Oswayo Valley; Aiden Bliss, Nicholas Wilfong and Kellen Veilleux from Port Allegany; and Collin Riekofsky from Smethport. Nicholas Wilfong was named MVP of the League. Port Allegany's Rick Veilleux was named Coach of the Year.

District IX Playoffs Lady Terrors bounced hard in the opening round of District play today. The Golden Tide found the sweet spot and hit a whopping 19 hits as the Lady Terrors just had no answer. For a team that wasn’t going to be due to lack of numbers to a co-op team with Oswayo Valley who had no coach and just a few numbers. Seneca Highlands CTC Students Explore Career Pathways Through Interactive Mobile Learning Lab Experience
Students recently participated in a series of engaging, hands-on Mobile Learning Lab sessions provided by Alfred State College, bringing career exploration and experiential learning directly into the classroom. Francis Homers/O-E Comes From Behind The Otto-Eldred softball team was sitting pretty going into the 4th inning 5-1, however the Kane wolves crossed the plate 6 times on 5 hits for the go ahead bottom of the 4th. O-E Comes From Behind On Senior Night The Otto-Eldred Terrors baseball team made senior more special as they scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take the lead and win. O-E was down 2-6 going into the 6th. Lions Top the Terrors O-E just couldn’t collect enough hits together to keep pace with the Lions. The Terrors did collect 9 hits however were just not hitting the sweet spots to advance the runners. O-E Hits Not Enough Despite out hitting the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines 12-6 the Terrors couldn’t overcome the errors and the free bases given up and let 6 slide in the 5th for B-R who took the lead for good. 4-30-26. Terrors Baseball Otto-Eldred 0 Coudersport 10 Pitcher M. Taylor single handedly led the Falcons in the win. Francis Throws No-Hitter as Otto-Eldred Tops Coudersport
Baylee Francis threw a no-hitter as visiting Otto-Eldred beat Coudersport, 6-2. Francis went seven innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits while striking out 16. Grace Rostizke was 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, and an RBI for the Lady Terrors, while Halaina Unverdorben was 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Cameron County Clay Crushers Hard Fought Win
Please join me in congratulating the team on their first win in program history. It didn't come easy as it was a 1 bird victory over the visiting OE Bird Dawgs. Down to its last strike, Smethport erupted for seven runs in the top of the seventh to stun Otto-Eldred, 10-9. Trailing 9-3, the Hubbers got back-to-back one-out singles before Ryan Schenfield struck out Colin Riekofsky for the second out. Striking out the side in the first inning, Otto-Eldred Baylee Francis recorded her 100th career strikeout in the Lady Terrors’ 9-2 win over visiting Smethport. Francis, a sophomore, came into the game at 97 punchout and recorded 13 on the day to give her 110 in her career. She allowed two earned runs on six hits and three walks in seven innings of work.
